Results
The Bell students at Assumption College Bangrak have made notable progress in all aspects of their English language usage since they began undertaking Cambridge exams during the 2009 academic year.
Notable Achievements
- In 2010, 52% of our students received a grade of 70% or higher on B1 Preliminary. But in 2023, 85% of our B1 Preliminary candidates received a grade of 80% or higher.
- In 2010, 57% of our students received a grade of 70% or higher on A2 Key. But in 2023, 71% of our A2 Key candidates received a grade of 80% or higher.
- This year, our students have shown an average improvement in all four areas of assessment - reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- This year, 40% of Bell students taking the B1 Preliminary exam recieved special awards, which is double the Thai national average. What is more, 17% of students taking the B1 Preliminary exam achieved a CEFR B2 level, the level required to enter university, a full three years early.
- In 2023, 98% of our students achieved at least a CEFR A1 level, with 81% of our students achieving a CEFR level of A2 or higher.
- Students who took Cambridge exams in both Mathayom 2 in 2022 and Mathayom 3 in 2023 improved on average by a full CEFR level, which is incredible progress for one academic year.
