Mathayom 1-3 Assessment

The Bell Programme is committed to providing high quality assessment that reflects the learning experiences of all our students and assesses their performance fairly.

The combination of assessment methods used by the Bell Programme is shown oppossite:

Mid-Semester Written Exam

These exams are based on the syllabus and measure the students' grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and listening.

End of Semester Written Exam

These exams are based on the syllabus and measure the students' grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and listening.

Continual Assessment

Core skills are assessed twice per unit through a variety of activities. Reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar and vocabulary are all assessed equally.

Coursework

Students produce four pieces of work each year which form their portfolio folder.

Oral Exams

Students are assessed using the Cambridge ESOL format speaking exam at the end of each semester.

Behaviour and Attendance

The behaviour and attendence of students is assessed by the teacher each semester.
