Bell Educational Trust’s Mission Statement
All courses should be designed and delivered in such a way that they are in harmony with Bell Educational Trust’s main goals, which are to:
- provide high quality language training to consistently high standards
- increase mutual understanding among people from different cultures and cultural backgrounds around the world and to work towards raising the level of co-operation between them
- promote self-development among course participants and staff
Programme Goals
The goals for the Bell Programme at Assumption College are:
- to raise the level of all students to at least A2 CEFR level
- to instil accuracy, fluency, confidence and enthusiasm into all students with regard to the English Language
- to provide all students with a positive and enjoyable experience and to give them a favourable opinion of English and English speaking countries and cultures
- to foster positive classroom and study skills, including learning how to work individually and in groups, how to work to deadlines, give presentations and how to participate usefully in class
